Climate & Sustainability
Building the climate resilience and advocacy power of girls and young women with disabilities in a changing world.
Climate Justice for Girls
Climate change is not gender-neutral. Girls and young women — particularly those with disabilities — are disproportionately affected by the impacts of climate change, including food insecurity, displacement, water scarcity, and increased exposure to violence. Yet they are among the least represented in climate decision-making.
Our Climate & Sustainability program builds the climate literacy, adaptive capacity, and advocacy skills of girls and young women with disabilities. We equip them to understand climate impacts, protect themselves and their communities, and participate in climate action and governance.
We connect gender justice, disability inclusion, and environmental sustainability — recognising that the fight for a liveable planet must include the voices of all.
