Digital Inclusion – Free A Girl’s World Network

Digital Inclusion

Closing the digital divide for girls and young women with disabilities — because the digital world must work for everyone.

Bridging the Digital Divide

The digital revolution is transforming education, economies, and governance — but girls and young women with disabilities are at risk of being left behind. Limited access to devices, internet connectivity, digital literacy, and accessible technology means the digital divide compounds existing inequalities.

Our Digital Inclusion program equips girls and young women with disabilities with the skills, tools, and confidence to navigate the digital world safely and productively. From basic digital literacy to online entrepreneurship, we prepare participants for a connected future.

We also advocate for accessible digital content and platforms, ensuring that technology is designed for — not just adapted to — people with disabilities.

Technology Should Work for Everyone

Digital inclusion is no longer optional — it is essential for economic participation, access to government services, education, and civic life. By equipping girls and young women with disabilities with digital skills, we unlock entirely new dimensions of opportunity and independence.

“I learned to use my phone for my business. Now I take orders on WhatsApp and receive payments on M-Pesa. My customer base grew three times in six months.”
